Eric Heller has been working online retail since joining Amazon.com in January, 1999. During that time, he has managed critical online marketing programs for Amazon.com, Redfin, Expedia and FootSmart. He has also had the opportunity to work with thousands of participants in the Online Retail industry both at Amazon as a category manager for CE and Sports & Outdoors as well as in various board positions including being the first merchant representative elected to the Performance Marketing Association’s Board of Directors. Eric founded Marketplace Ignition.

Tod Harrick, Marketplace Ignition’s Director of Content, has been creating online content since 1999. He managed merchandising, content, marketing and demand generation for Amazon’s Home Improvement and Home Electronics stores, the latter of which became – during his tenure – the largest single revenue category on Amazon. He managed the launch of Microsoft’s first integrated ecommerce site.

Mackenzie Mendoza, Online Strategy Consultant, brings over 10 years of online agency experience to Marketplace Ignition. He has been involved with boutique creative firms such as Radarworks, heavy analytics shops like ID Media, and the marketing platform company Mercent, where he was practice lead for their Repricing Tool. Over the last several years, Mac has specialized in bringing clients to market on the CSEs and Marketplaces while continuing optimization of those campaigns.

Matt Pavlick brings 8+ years of process improvement, operations, and e-commerce experience from the retail and service industries to Marketplace Ignition. Throughout his career, Matt has demonstrated success in identifying areas of opportunity and implementing strategic projects to create value. Prior to joining Marketplace Ignition, his most recent achievements in online retail addressed operational and process pain points to create efficiencies for a Top 200 Internet Retailer. Matt is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from Youngstown State University and a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech.

James Hutchins works as an Online Marketing Specialist for Marketplace Ignition. He recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Cognitive Science. James enjoys the challenge of marketing and exploring the connection between marketing and neuroscience.

Sydney Smith, Marketing Operations Specialist for Marketplace Ignition, is a recent graduate of Georgia Tech. With a degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management, she brings knowledge of strategic planning, developing, and managing a firm’s resources and processes.
